• Three finalist proposals will be presented on the last day of the program.
• Fifteen projects are competing for their commercial takeoff in the final stage.

The PERUMIN Hub program, an innovative project competition aimed at providing solutions to the challenges facing the mining sector, will end on Thursday, September 28, in Arequipa, the city hosting the PERUMIN 36 Mining Convention.

On the last day of the final stage, three of the fifteen proposals that made it to the finals in the "Innovations that take off" category will be presented. These projects are "Smart Display LE100" by Komatsu Mitsui Maquinarias Perú, "Uayki: Todos conectados – Educación sin fronteras" (Uayki: All connected – Education without borders) by Uayki Perú, and "Integración de actores de la minería a través del metaverso" (Integration of mining stakeholders through the metaverse) by MetaCERV Perú.

After the presentations, a jury panel composed of representatives from different mining companies operating in our country will deliberate and announce the winners in the three categories: "Innovations to Validate," "Successful Innovations," and "Innovative Collaborative Models.”

Additionally, the finalists for the "Young People Who Bring About Transformation" category will be announced. This category aims to promote the development of ideas and creativity among future professionals from universities and technical institutes nationwide, as well as from Andean countries interested in the mining sector.

PERUMIN Hub is a program designed to facilitate the commercial takeoff of innovative proposals that address the challenges facing the mining industry. It currently involves twenty mining companies and more than nine allied countries, including Australia, Canada, and China, among others.

For this edition of the PERUMIN Mining Convention, more than a hundred projects were submitted, fifteen of which reached the finals.

The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, September 29, at the Cerro Juli Convention Center, the venue of the great mining event PERUMIN 36, which this year has the slogan "Investment that generates welfare and sustainable development”.
